Members, join us for this special virtual program! Carolin Collins, Director of School and Youth Programs and Kate Hooper, Education Program Coordinator, will discuss Historic New England’s robust education program and will dive into programs offered at Quincy House and Pierce House that highlight the sites connections to the American Revolutionary War. Quincy Revolution: A Family Divided showcases the divide between Josiah Quincy Sr., a patriot and his two sons, Josiah Quincy Jr, a patriot, and Samuel Quincy, a loyalist, who opposed each other not only politically, but as lawyers in the Boston Massacre Trial. A Revolution in Dorchester provides a look at the Revolutionary War era using primary sources, including Colonel Samuel Pierce’s journal.
